The Surface

Having to work with new people all the time made me learn a lot—people are almost never what they appear to be, and what we see on the surface is often merely the tip of an iceberg.

The sad truth is that as humans, we are often too quick to judge, and too often we fail to notice many important details about others. As they say, time will always tell. But sometimes the things we have said or done can hurt beyond skin deep, and an apology might not be able to heal those invisible scars.

Perhaps it’s time for me to be more mindful about my interactions with people…
